フィリピンの首都マニラにあるユニークなハイブリッドスペースHideawayの主力アーティストたちによるグループショーを開催！
”Hideaway”は、グラフィティ、ストリートアート、トイ、バイク、タトゥー、そして思いがけない冒険を愛する人たちのコミュニティであり、私たちメンバーの表現への情熱は、マニラのアートシーンを動かす原動力となっています。
この場所は、いつでもふらっと立ち寄ると、タトゥーマシンの音や笑い声が響く中、開催中の展覧会を鑑賞できます。国内外からの来訪者にとって、ここはまさにアートと人の”交差点”であり、また頻繁に訪れる人々は、この場所をいつでも戻れる拠点という意味で”HQ（本部）”と呼んでいます。
mograg galleryで開催される『Manila Maniacs』では、Hideawayの主力アーティストたちをご紹介します。サロン形式で構成された本展では、アーティストそれぞれの個性と共に、Hideawayに流れる時間と、そこに宿るスピリットを感じていただければ幸いです。
Hideaway is the motor of the Manila art scene driven by interests close to the hearts of the members of its community. It is a group of people who love graffiti, street art, toys, motorcycles, tattoos, and getting into random adventures.
Those who visit frequently call the space HQ (headquarters) because it is a place always open to come back to. Hideaway is an artist-run space where on any given day you can walk in and hear the sound of tattoo machines and laughter while viewing the works in the current exhibition. It is a cross section for visitors locally and internationally.
The exhibition at mograg gallery, titled Manila Maniacs, highlights the heavy hitters of Hideaway. Presented in a salon-style format, the show features works from each artist, expressing both their individual identities and the collective spirit as a whole.

Hideawayは、2023年にオープンしたマニラにあるユニークなハイブリッドスペースです。
この場所は、フィリピンのロウブロウ・アートを展示するギャラリー『Forcefield Artspace』、クラシック・アメリカーナ・スタイルに特化したタトゥ・スタジオ『Pale Rose Tattoo』を併設しています。
これらに集うアーティストたちのコラボレーションによって独自のコミュニティが形成され、いわゆるホワイトキューブのギャラリーとは異なるユニークな体験を生み出しています。
私たちは、壁やストリート、そして肌の上に表現されるアートこそが称賛されるべきだと信じています。
Hideaway is a unique hybrid space located in Metro Manila which started in 2023. It is an umbrella organization that houses Forcefield Artspace on the right and Pale Rose Tattoo on the left. The space is concentrated on showing Filipino Lowbrow Art and Classic Americana Style Tattoo. This creates a community of artists that often collaborate and create unique experiences atypical to white wall galleries. We believe that art on the walls/streets and art on the skin should be celebrated.
